Flights of the Proto-OmniWing, the OmniWing, and the Advanced OmniWing at the local city park. Light breeze blowing through the trees, thus the wings are buffeted about a bit, but a good demonstration of the comparitive flight capabilities of the three OmniWing variations. Visit my channel to see how to buid each of these wings. I suggest you start with the Proto-OmniWing. Also at my channel are other videos showing flights as well as some discussion on the "Inspiration of the OmniWing", and "Paper Airplane Aerodynamics 101".
These are challenging wings to build but if you get it right you are rewarded with a very high performance wing, with good glide ratio and sink rate while having excellent stability.

  • I bet you get all the ladies with your three finger push. hahahahahahha

  • @s1ckstr1ngs Great way to pic up lot's of ladies.... Building paper airplanes...... NOT!

  • lol i put air intakes of the advanced. it looks cool but can only fly downhill

  • @oOWinterNightOo Cool. Sometimes I will go for a build that is just for aesthetics. Probably could easily make a replica of the B2 Bomber.

  • @menamiketrx isnt this already a b-2?

  • @oOWinterNightOo You can replicate the B2 pretty closely by doing a trailing edge cut similar to that of the B2.

  • ok kinda cool

  • boring

  • @tinkerbell1ist Watch this video closely. You will see that I hold the wing with thumb and little finger on the bottom. Remaining fingers on the top. Rather than a throw, you will see I am giving a gentle push forward. I try to launch the wing at the speed at which it flys. Launch with the wings level, and the nose pointed slightly downward. If your wing is built properly, it should fly. I suggest you start with the Proto-OmniWing found on my channel.
