This is from "The New Show" There were only 5 episodes made before it was cancelled in 1984. The show combined the first cast of SNL and the cast from SCTV. I loved it.

@tsavorite2000 Who from SNL was in this show? Buck Henry wasn't really in the SNL cast. He was just a frequent guest

@tsavorite2000 thanks for posting this...not much of a TV person but vaguely remembered this show(5 episodes!).

SNL did "Eggshell Family",which was prob. lifted from this skit...Martin Short was in it.

@kyolym Why yes it is!  She looked so different, when she put some meat on her bones. Actually, she looks pretty good, to me. I think she did that for the movie "Perfect" with Travolta and Jamie Lee Curtis. Regardless, she really looked pretty in this ep (when her hair wasn't flying around).

I can't believe, as much as I was in front of the tv, that I missed this show! That was one of the funniest skits I have ever seen! Thanks for posting!
