@hith3m, Well thanks for commenting. Yes it is the original. I do know that for a fact as i also matched up the numbers on the axles and the differential to the Gear set. why? LaTeRz, -BOGAR!

so basically when the cadilac hit the honda, the honda acted as a crumple zone to absorb MOST of the energy in the overall impact, thus saving your friends dad. if he were in any modern day car, chances are both occupants of both vewhicles would have died since both cars would have been CRUSHED in a headon

i say, cars like j45007s cadillac are SAFE. your story backs that up even more.
