1995 S10 V8 - First Start

Very old video from back in 2002 or so.
First time after the engine rebuild that it was fired up.


283 Short block
Stock bottom end
270 duration 8mm lift or something cam, I can't quite remember.
Hardend pushrods and new lifters.
Custom Shorty headers
Single Plane Intake manifold
Roller rockers (Again, been awhile. I want to say 1.5 but that sounds too big)
Camel Hump Heads (Stock Corvette heads of that vintage)
600cfm Performer 4 barrel carb w/ spacer
I don't remember much after that.

Threw it on a dyno about a year after this video, made 264-271 whp and over 300ftlb.
Horrible 4:10 rear-end.

It was a project I never finished, and sold later. Its a dragster shell now up near Dallas last I heard. I miss it.
