Assembling the EBN, Inc. 101 Plate Electrolyser.

This is a prototype kit consisting of 101 316L stainless plates. It is a large format device based on the Tero Ranta 2006 design.

The plates/gaskets are 8" x 8". The end plates are 9" x 9".

The device weighs in at 65 lbs and is 11" wide by 9" square. Total active surface area is 12,800 square inches.

This device is optimized to run on rectified 120v house current which yields 154vDC. With 100 plate gaps, the voltage per gap will be approximately 1.54v.

Next - The reservoir/bubbler assembly.

Enjoy ...

WOW, this video is popular in Korea!?!

나는 이 영상이 한국에서 대중적이다 만족하다. 문제는 세계적이다. 당신은 해결책에 또한 종사해야 한다.

It seems this video is also quite popular in Spanish speaking nations, Spain, Mexico and some South American countries!?!

Estoy contento que este vídeo es popular en España, central y Suramérica. El problema es global. Usted debe trabajar en la solución también.

And in Russia !?!

Я довольный что это видео популярно в Россия. Проблема глобальна. Вы должны работать на разрешении также.

We got a global problem to solve folks ... With so many of us working on the solutions the problems will be solved one by one! JUST BUILD IT !!!

  • I have one question I can't find the answer too anywhere. With a car battery every other plate in the cell is connected to another one. without that it wouldn't work. Why in hho systems are there so many neutral plates? How do they work to help the system by just sitting there being neither pos or neg? And also wouldn't buying a new car battery and draining the acid to mix in your own electrolyte solution be easier and quicker to making an electrolizer?

  • @TheJeremy2069 - suggest you watch a video I did a few years back which does a pretty good job of explaining this - ?v=m7Dkj_ptMqA

think you will find your answer there and its much better than I can put here in text allowed ...

  • Thx!!!

What do you do with so much gas?

  • @fischerrute watch?v=va2azUA8kaE - intent was to put together an experimental apparatus able to run a small engine on 100% HHO - at the time, no one was doing it and no one even knew how much HHO it would take or what sort of performance could be expected - its all about adding a few more pieces to the puzzle

  • Hi,

Do u have some KHO in the water?

    Does NaHO works fine?

Both chemicals are used to make soaps...,

    so it schould work...

Do u have some experience with NaHO?

    Nice vid!! (-:)

  • @fischerrute - KOH is slightly more efficient than NaOH - I used NaOH long ago - in my more recent experiments I only used KOH

  • so cool you add up the part list :) i wanna help out. hope it can kick a car sideways pushing the pedel :)))

  • @SmartScarecrow Yes the plates of course have to be perfectly aligned before and then thread the sheath and bolts trough one hole, then align the plates s another wouls fit in the diagonal then should the rest holes be in perfect alignment.

I havent done exactly this myself with these plates but it just felt that it should go faster but obviously not. Btw nice setup!

  • @dtiydr - problem with that plan is that it damages the plastic sheath that insulates the stainless steel rods ... believe me, I tried that ... its critical that the spacing between the plates is even and that the alignment is accurate .. and those steel rods must be electrically isolated by the PVC sheath ... there may be a better way of assembly, but the way I show it being done is known to work well ... slow but works every time ...

  • Next time i would suggest you to put all the plates as they should be and then tread the rods true them. That woud have gone SO much faster.
