Celestia Open Universe can place the names of objects next to their positions, as in this animation. The smaller moons swirl around and then the large moon, Titan, makes its appearance.

  • All pouring water would do is expand it by an infetesimal degree...what is already their. And it may technicly absorb some from the air or evaporate some. I'm not sure what you are saying but I am a Christain. If you have any questions about it then ask but I don't know what saying 40 moons has to do with it. later

  • I meant that the idea that pouring water can increase its volume doesn't fit with an enormous amount of background knowledge that people have, even without doing scientific experiments on it. That's like any kind of magical beliefs. But I did believe in that sort of thing once. The brain develops and becomes more critical of the things people say. As people become less able, in old age, perhaps they start to believe in such things again. They can't decide on such matters as a younger person can.

  • Saturn has more than 40 known moons. It's amazing to think we have a God that created such beautiful things.

  • Hi.

When I was very young, I was told that if you pour water from one jug into another, the amount of water increases. Before long I knew that it wasn't true. How did I know that? I suppose I saw with my own eyes that it wasn't true. But what if someone said some water is produced by doing that, but only a little bit? So perhaps it is true. But somewhow it just doesn't fit with the rest of what I know and others seem to know about the world. That's like a lot of beliefs.
