I might never have heard this brilliant piece of VGM if it wasn't for Catguy19, so thanks for the tip. I find the bass guitar especially nice in the original, and if I actually played slap bass, I would've totally rocked that track single. Since I don't, some guitars will have to do. Most fun was creating the drum track, I think it came out pretty nice. Anyways, hope ya'll enjoy. Comment and subscribe! CHEERIO!

Audio and video are recorded separately. My audio recording setup:

Ibanez LTD EC-50, Ibanez RG420EG or LTD EX-50 (into)
Engl e530 tube preamp (into)
Guitar Rig Mobile audio interface (into)
Computer with Intel i5 processing and 4 Gb RAM (into)
Cubase 5 with various cabinet impulses on the effects channel for the audio tracks.

Video is recorded with a Flip Mino HD 3. Edited in Pinnacle Studio 14.

  • This really fucked my balls.

  • @ZDWario Oh, the many ways in which we today can say "i liked this." Thanks (:

  • I wish I could get my bass' tone like that.

  • @TheMandusa Haha, it's not even a real bass. It's a synth with bass samples called "Trilogy." I really like the slap bass presets, sounds pretty funky.

  • Ah, hell yea man! This one worked a lot better being translated to guitar.

So.... Gonna do "You're Not Here" with guitar-line-vocal-parts?? (Please please please!)

  • @AmbientOfMind Yeah I think I'll do it soon enough. And by "soon" I don't mean like.. TOMORROW. But maybe sometime after christmas, we'll see. Anyways, I really want to cover it so you'll see it eventually (:
