@ArnoldHC Yes, more then enough.

your pc never ever uses 1250W!
i have an phenomx4 @3,5Ghz, hd5850 and i use an 550W and it works fine
-
@rlaginha1 actually i installed 2 x hd4870x2 on a Asus rampage 2 Extreme + i7 920@4ghz + 6gb ddr3 @ 1600mhz and had no problems USING A COOLERMASTER REAL POWER 850W, i have a zalman mfc2 which shows the power consumption of the system and it reached a peak of 792w(3d mark Vantage), my psu proved 2 b a monster i was so proud of it!
but i have to say that after a few tests i took off one card as i didnt need that much power! i scored 27700 3d marks on vantage, what's your score?
btw nice rig man!

I use Corsair 1000w and it`s working fine:)

hd 4870x2 now alot cheaper than before.u can get 2 of hd 4870x2 for 400us.thanks to hd 5870 because of this card hd4870x2 becomes cheaper.~~
-
my setup is almost the same. 4870x2 with Q9775 CPU in ABIT X38

I'm thinking of getting another HD4870x2 just to see how QuadCrossfire does. But is my Phenom 2 940+ and 8 gigs of DDR2 ram (1066) gonna be bottlenecking the GPU's?
what operating system are you using? and how much of your power supply is getting used up?

good point. Was not customer request. Also the provided WB do not match high flow tubbing like this 1/2". So you will need 3rparty WB like EK. The radiator tripple at top and 3 noctua fans will help cooling of VRM mosfet and also Northbridge due to heatpipes connections.
thanks for comment.
