@n3rdb004 how did you get protools and did u get it to work
-
can i use this mbox with windows vista
-
i don't know of any drivers, but the mac should power the mbox through the right MIDI setting on the mac, the options on the pro are the same as the original, but the pro won't power the mbox, and i'm using the only available USB ports. oh and you don't need protools, i just use audacity (even though i own protools AND the giant manual for it) ha i'm too lazy to learn it but yeah you don't need it to run this thing. maybe i'll try it though lol

@Nawfside14rm You might need to look for the mbox audio driver on avid.com. Also, I'm making a 2012 studio video showing my new setup! It's coming soon!

@n3rdb004 You might need a new cable for your mbox. Or try a different usb port. It's happened to me before as well. Usually, it could just be that there's something wrong with the cable or the port isn't strong enough. Or the cable. Either or. Just try switching things around unplug some things that you might have plugged into USB cables and plug just the box in. Another thing, do you have it connected to a usb hub?

@mortemdrummer Did you try installing the drivers or anything like that? Or install protools?
