AMC has become unrecognizable from what it once was. OLTL is very well written and is doing relatively well in the ratings. ABC should, at least, retain OLTL and have some AMC characters move to Llanview. Since ABC likely won't change its decision, NBC, CBS or FOX should pick-up OLTL, at least, but preferably both.

@Moionfire Then Chew will probably stay for awhile.OLTL will last til January and after what I saw on AMC today,it's it for me.I'll be watching OLTL til January.Hope they can keep OLTL.The storylines on AMC are so rediculous now the show will bury itself.Already has.

they should have given the viewers the opportunity to pay extra to keep these shows, hell I would pay extra on my cable bill to keep watching these shows

@cubicaljane Relace it with another trashy reality/lifestyle show. You see those type of shows are so cheap, that it doesn't matter if they get half the ratings of soaps. They almost always break even and have a larger margin of profit. I imagine however that they get better and more prestitious sponsors for soaps. I can understand canceling one soap - but TWO soaps at the same time.... AMC is doing poorly- not OLTL...

ABC is making a mistake like they have never seen b4. Don't take something off the air that has been on for 42 years, they said 5 years ago they was getting 4.5 million veiwers aday and now its 2 million, they better be happy they are getting that many because when these shows are took off the air and what ever they put in there place im sure all the soap fans want watch that. Im sure in 42 years the had low raitings b4 and came out of that, hell if ABC would hire better righters!
