Interesting music. Kind of reminds me of Tiit Kiikas, a experimental violinist from Estonia. Pretty extreme use of the oud but I like it. Not beating Anouar Brahem at it but I doubt no-one ever will :)

I went to Dhafer's Hong Kong concert...it was wonderful and his warm smile and gracious personality made me want to get to know him as a person. Too bad I can't play anything...he seems to be such a fun person to have a jam session with.
