I just new you'd make a reply like that. ALL electrical items must be switched on whenever the seatbelt sign is on and that, obviously, includes landing. Qantas state that several times onboard, including during the safety demo. I know that, because I work on those aircraft - on your very flight number in fact. Indeed, I may well have been ON your flight..

Why? A camera is not interfering with the systems of a plane, maybe unlike a laptop or a mobile. It doesn't transmit any signals. :-)
