  • hmm

i didnt know they made castlevania games anymore i havent been alert since Castlevania DRACULA X....

figured it would keep going downhill : /

  • It went far from downhill. Play SOTN for

ps1 and you will see what I mean.

  • He's talking about the snes game which was a dummied down version of the pc version game rondo of blood. SOTN is a completely different game, unless you are refering to the japanese name.

  • dracula x is another name for sotn >.> sorta like how resident evil 5 is also biohazard 5.

  • You are close.

    English Name:

    Castlevania Symphony of the Night

    Japanese Name:

(Castlevania) Akumajo Dracula X: Nocturne In the Moonlight

  • @NewDragon80Remix I agree with you

  • If you see castlevania (2003) for ps2 then you can understand that god of war (2005) looks like castlevania.....god of war is only a copy

  • @MrGanon00 So I take it setting the game in 2010 New York (even though that looks more like Romania) is a stupid idea, but setting it in future Japan is ok. Where do they find you guys?

  • @MrGanon00 Oh, I'm sorry for not having my head stuck up my ass. The ending of Lords Of Shadow is still a hell of a lot better than Dawn Of Sorrow. Look kid, I don't care if you mom got you a DS for your birthday and a Metroid rip-off Castlevaia was you first game, this game is still a lot better then the shit that came after Symphony Of The Night.

  • No but seriously, go fuck yourself.

  • @Mykayel Thanks for regurgitating the word "reboot" at us as if that excuses every decision the designers make in this game. Dracula, actually I'm sorry "Dracul", falls out of a fucking church in what looks like New York in the year 2010. Satan was the last boss. Here's a reboot of Zelda, ready? Link is an insane old man who thinks he's a knight. Zelda is actually a whore who goes by the alias "Princess of Destiny" and works for Ganon inc. on the corner of Hyrule Ave. It's a REBOOT, IDIOT!

  • @Maliki321 It's a REBOOT, the sequel is already in production (and if you watched the ending after the credits you know why) and a DLC for Lords Of Shadow that will continue the story into the sequel has also begun production. So yeah, it's cannon but to a different universe. Just like Prince Of Persia: Sands of Time which had nothing to do with the original trilogy but became it's own series on to itself.

  • @unicornfairydancer No, it's a new Belmont called Gabriel. The game is a complete reboot of the franchise. It goes back to the liniar style of Castlevania like Super Castlevania 4. It's an amazing game, finished it already. The quest takes 16-20 hours to complete on Normal difficulty, tons of replay value, 45 different creatures to fight, tons of different puzzles and powers and a great (and I MEAN great) ending.
