Tne Nomadic lifestyle is older than days, government restrictions and laws made for government profit, are overboard, and often unnessary, eg: a dog license for heavens sakes. Although, I do agree that regardless of how they live, thay SHOULD have respect for the ways others live, private property, and respect for Mother Earth by keeping the areas they are in, the way they found it.

What I've never understood about the Battle of the Beanfield is that the object was apparently to 'smash' the convoy - yet one year later, the amount of people on the road had increased dramatically and continued to do so for several years... and like all actions where the brutality of the police is foremost, only served to further alienate their victims.
