Panel name: The Economic Future: Is Pessimism the New Optimism?

Date: Wednesday, June 22nd 16:30- 18:00

We are still experiencing the effects of the global economic crisis that began in 2008. What characteristic will define the global economy of tomorrow following the economic crisis? Are the instigated efforts of recovery achieving the desired results? How will the growing economic might of China, India and Brazil, the fluctuations in gas prices, environmental issues and global warming, geopolitical turmoil and new technology affect the international economic order? Who will lead the economy of tomorrow and what principles will guide it so that the future economy will provide a minimal salary to pessimistic forecasters?
