@MindstormRecs right, but they didnt have this sort of sound until the strokes gained in popularity. Phoenix is a great band, but casablancas is a better composer in my opinion.

@midblake These guys were doing there thing before The Strokes came and went with their 15 minutes and Phoenix lives on and will always live on so thanks for your opinion

@midblake maybe.....phoenix has been around since before 2000 and strokes started in say...1998?? kinda around the same time? it's debatable.

@antislug .... Jealous. You had better rush the stage like the fans in Australia. I'm seeing them at Bonnaroo again this year, & I've already planned out my stage entrance. Last year they had a tiny tiny set-- but that was pre-grammy. This year's show will be longer, I hope!
