Rush by Singular Crew

It's a wild demo released at Breakpoint 2008. It runs on a stock C64 + ide64 and features the worldfirst 25fps fullscreen animation on the breadbox. Music: DaFunk, Animation: Poison, Code: Soci, additional help: Leon & Cargo. Blender was used for modeling, animation and cut on PC and Mac.

This is UNBELIEVABLE !!!!.. AMAZING WORK!! .. but the sound in the demo is obviously not relying upon the SID chip!? Does it have something to do with using a CD Audio track via the IDE64?

Audio is played by the CD rom which is controlled by the C64/IDE64.

Needs some hacking, as VICE currently creates only 8MB HDD image and Rush needs ~16. CD audio isn't available either. If you are still interested, we can release a preconfigured version for VICE.
