Heartened by the success of re-living the ancient system, the disciple saints of Shastriji Maharaj expanded the horizons by envisioning a new Gurukul at Chharodi to be an academic centre of excellence at an International level that would combine Science, Sports and Spirituality. Thus was born the Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Vishwavidya Prathishthanam (SGVP) at Chharodi.
To achieve this excellence, SGVP entered into a historic agreement with University of South Carolina Aiken, USA. This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) provides SGVP with the latest teaching methodologies, Curriculum facilitation and a path towards an American Accreditation, an unprecedented feat in whole of Asia! The students of SGVP will benefit from this great learning opportunity that will combine the ancient time tested values with the most modern learning methodologies, an ultimate reality of Sdg. Shree Shastriji Maharaj's vision.
