@MaidenintheHerPool You're absolutely right. By this time in her career she had been singing Ballo for 5 years. Amelias and Micaelas are generally not interchangeable.

@kgarmaker123 I don't know anything about this lady, therefore this is just a guess, but she may have over-exerted herself and strained her vocal cords. After all, much skill, both technically and vocally, is required to sing true opera, something most crossover artists don't have to deal with. And yet... you're right. It should have lasted much longer

I have never seen a better Micaela than this . Magnificent. Such a pity that her voice didn't lasted a bit longer.
