Chicago (June 30th, 2011) - Sephora and Dr. Dennis Gross made beauty retail history on Thursday, June 30 from 7pm-9pm CST with the first ever doctor/client virtual skin consultation via Skype. Dr. Dennis Gross, a celebrity dermatologist based in New York City, conducted 25 personal skin consultations with Sephora Northbridge Chicago clients using Skype in high definition. Dr. Gross analyzed clients' skin over the computer and made ingredient and personalized product recommendations to alleviate their concerns. He performed one-on-one evaluations to assess their skin type and gave them advice in treating signs of aging, breakouts, enlarged pores as well as any other areas of concern. A consultation with Dr. Dennis Gross in his New York City practice would cost approximately $300, however, Sephora clientele received this service complimentary with any product purchase that evening.
