the MPC plays two patterns, you can hear the original in the beginning, one is the breakbeat the other is the percussion loop. the sound is being fed into the Machinedrum UW and all the variations you hear are done with two RAM machines in the Machinedrum UW, no other sounds or gadgets are being used.

replying to my self. I was wrong. The Akai is not sending a midi clock to the machinedrum.
But regardless I know that both have excellent, very stable midi clocks.

Very Good.
totally interesting to hear the tight sync clock between these 2. I know both send out excellent mid clock.
This is so much better than loads of videos where the sync can clearly be heard slightly off between various machines. ALWAYS pay attention to how well a piece of gears midi clock is integrated. Of course all DAW midi clocks are diabolical (without exception) Im talking about hardware here

What are you using the MPC for after the initial playing of the two patterns?
Confused by this awesome mashup!

this is awesome! do you just record into the ram machines in the beginning or do you keep recording different variations into the RAM in the different patterns?
