  • I am also rooting for David Duval who played very well in the Second Stage of Q School and finished 4 rounds in a Tie for 2nd Place at 9 Under Par just 3 shots off the leader. I've followed David, and Ty for many years since their decline just hoping they come back. rooting for the both of them to make it back to the PGA TOUR. Such a classic swing for Ty and struggles. It has to be down to a lack of confidence, the technique is definately there. Long hitter. Putting is a weakness of Ty's.

  • If Ty Tryon comes through the Final Stage of Q School come end of November - early December I personally believe this will be not only one of the greatest stories in Golf History, but one of the greatest stories in SPORTS HISTORY! For 10 long years he's been knocking it about on lesser Tours and part time status on Nationwide Tour. 27 years of age now, married with a child, I'm sure he's more mature and looking forward to the challenge. I hope the kid realises his dream, I'll be rooting for him.

  • I was a fan of Ty Tryon's game when he was a 17 year old kid and featured on some of the earlier Tiger Woods games. I am also a fan of Comeback Stories. What character to shoot a first round 79 in 1st stage of Q School and then 72, then greats rounds of 66 and 69 to qualify for the 2nd stage. He then qualified for the Final Stage the other day finishing 14th which was good enough. 3 rounds under par just the 3rd round 74, and again bounced back with a 71 which was good enough.

  • You look at that classic golf swing and wonder what Ty Tryon has been doing since he lost his card back in 2002. I personally believe he came on the TOUR too young. He should have waited til he was 21 years old. Having said this, even though he got huge sums of money by Callaway for endorsement I felt sorry for Ty because I believe the Media put too much pressure on the kid. Now 27 years of age, he's more mature and has just qualified for the Final Stage of Q School. What a story if he returns.

  • Ty made it through 1st stage of 2011 Q-school after opening with a 79, he finished strong with 72-66-69 to make it to 2nd stage....................to be continued

  • Great golf swing!! we will see Ty back on tour soon
