@Azina I second this. That and what he desperately needed was for someone to love him and didn't have the social skills to obtain it. All throughout the series it seemed that's what he wanted-- especially with the "Alan A'Dale" Ep--- his sorrow over the fate of the sherrif's 'wife' is palpable. I keep thinking that if she turned to Guy and said "Let's escape. Right now." He would have been all for it, Sherrif be damned.
