He messed up the lyrics in the first stanza, where he sang "How could she say to me...". It should've been "Everywhere people stare...". But it's okay - John Lennon himself forgot his own lyrics half the time when performing live . I'm sure he would have let it slide.

You're so right smilinstevie88. John Lennon screwed up his lyrics all the time, but that's what made him real:) It just goes to show once again that our musical hero's, so to speak, are, or were, ordinary people just like us. I think I can speak for all of us when I say...They instill hope.
