At 15 seconds, that is where the dumb asses decided to ride out the storm. Both of them are now wanted by the Galveston Sheriff's dept. for major theft.

Just came back from Galveston, the 91st street pier had a sign that said they would be back in 2010!!!!

I fished there many times aswell. Sharks, rays, trout, croakers. Great spot. I went after Ike and they don't seem to be coming back any time soon.

i seen pics recently,its seriously bad,i duno how they are going to rebuild that pier,it may take years

I have fished that pier many times, was there back in July. I caught several speckled trout! Hope they had insurance, would like to fish there again! They had pics of huge fish caught there in the office over the last 70 years,, 175 lbs and bigger!

@skategoodwood1 Wrong. That's the 91st fishing pier. It has / had concrete pilings It still stands partially today, the 61st had wooden. The 61st ST fishing pier has since been rebuilt and is open for business.
