@SHOOKEDsoul2 yup you got it and the 1 with the guard just cuts less hair versus a 1 without the guard
-
@azninvazno8 I kinda want to buy it as the masters open is a #1? then the master w/ 1/16 guard closed is a #1 and then open a #1 1/2.. then again with the 1 guard its a #1 1/2 coled and then opened a number #2 and so on...

@SHOOKEDsoul2 basically it's still a 1 but it cuts less hair. If it's in the middle it's about a half but a little bit more hair than the half w/o the guard. Hope you understood that.

@azninvazno8 what about the 1/16 guard? will the master with the 1/16 guard open basically be a 1 1/6? what about it in the middle notch? the 1/16 kinda confuses me

@POYOTHABARBER and each guard is about 3 bucks
-
@POYOTHABARBER it says on the box that it fits on any clippers. I've never used them on the Wahl Taper 2000
-
Hey bro will those red gards wrk on a wahl taper 2000 and how much do they run 4?
-
@isofly28 yeah you're somewhat correct. But don't confuse yourself though. Find the line that marks the half or close to half. Cutting hair depends on the clippers adjustments like your first knotch might be different from mines. Looks like you got it. Think of it as basic math. Let me know if it makes sense.
how do you clean your plastic clipper guards?

@heavyarms39 I use a nail brush and brush all the hairs off the clippers and the guards. Then I use Andis Cool Care or Osters Disinfectant Spray and spray it down.
