My original parody video was being debated by these morons at a company called UMG (Universal Music Group). They told Youtube that one of their artists music was being used by me illegally. I debated this with Youtube and UMG explaining that the instrumental used was paid for and was not being sold or making any kind of money, nor was it being exhibited to an audience which had paid money for it's viewing. Regardless, UMG never reimbursed me nor have they even replied to my claims. Maybe I should get an attorney.
Either way, after endless hours of trying to find an instrumental close to the original, I was in luck. This guy I had been emailing told me he found a guy who had the original instrumental and could give me a copy but that there was this horrible sound of restaurant noises clanging around in the background. I told him to send it and if it works, I'll just use that. Cool thing is, It's not as loud as I thought and I was able to throw my lyrics over it. I deleted my original video on Youtube and made another one and here it is! Good thing I saved my lyrics. LOL Thank God UMG doesn't record with background sounds like this horrible video.
