Vox AC4TV 10" profiled on Kemper Profiling Amplifier

This is my first profiling. I choose a little amp, one of my favorite for home playing (and preferred on my channel). A good or a lucky mic position can catch the best part of a tone, and avoid the worst: for example here the tone is quite big, but the natural tone of a such small cab is most mids and no low end. Anyway this profiling is astonishing, in my opinion it play better than the original one, or to be more precise catch the best part and KPA give me some margin to improve the tone more. Anyway first tone is almost exactly what the original tone, the second one has an improved gain (by Kemper Amp, the AC4 cranked more distort in a bad way). Recorded in 4W setting, tone 10, volume 7, mic Shure PG57 very angled (i put a photo at end of vid). Even so small, the profiling was LOUD so be careful if you plan to profile a big amp and you're in front of it. Guitar is a Bach Les Paul with Vintage Alnico PAF pickups.

Hey again, I saw a guy promoting the profilers. and then turning the amp off and only playing with the profiler on....so are you saying you can record quietly with these things or do they still need to be run through a speaker after the amp has been profiled and does feel of the playing still feel the same etc etc.....thanks

@stevoe1000 The final quality is as good as the original amp, and with great marge to change and improve any aspect of the dynamic, compression, harmonics and many other things. AC4 profiled play even better than the real one. If your goal is the recording, that is all you need. To real playing anyway you need a very good speaker (and a big diameter) and amp, guitar is a complex instrument to reproduce. So if you're using a small and cheap monitor, the feel is not same of a 412 cab.

@DoV690 il mio parere è che lo sia, nel mio caso mette una parola "fine" non alla ricerca del suono (quello è un casino anche col Kemper Amp, ti posso assicurare, fosse solo che il suono perfetto è un ideale irraggiungibile che dipende da mille cose a iniziare dalle nostre dita) ma all'acquisto di materiale, amplificazione ed effettistica. In un mese ho appena preso le misure di cosa può fare e ho già suoni nettamente superiori, fosse solo che sto imparando a regolarmi il timbro su misura

a breve purtroppo no.....credo che per il mio budget possa permettermi solo cose tipo il podhd500....ma se le cose (lavorativamente parlando) migliorano.....il sogno è sempre stato l'axe fx ultra.....ma ora guardando i tuoi video e leggendo nei forum ....anche il Kpa credo abbia il suo" perchè"...è costa 700 € in meno dell'axe fx!ps per essere sicuri non è solo amp modeling?.grazie anche per i consigli per l'ampli vox(intendevi forse il vox ad60vt?)...ciao grazie!

@spikelive direi che ha il suo perché e anche il suo percome, ne riparliamo fra qualche mese come un po' si diffonde. Il modeling, ovvero i modelli fisici, simulano via software i circuiti pezzo per pezzo e sono ricostruiti su misura per ogni singola parte. Il profiling è completamente diverso, analizza le alterazioni che avvengono tra un segnale in ingresso e uno in uscita, a prescindere di cosa ci sia in mezzo (infatti chiunque può farlo). E' un approccio completamente nuovo

@spikelive pagato 1444 più spedizione, con vari mesi di prenotazione (volevo averlo appena uscito, ne son state fatte pochissime copie). Li vale mille volte, me ne rendo conto ogni giorno di più. Ma ci stai facendo un pensierino?

@spikelive pare che anche quello a modelli fisici (ovvero con modeling, senza vera circuitazione a valvole) di ac "qualcosa" non sia affatto male. Io non l'ho provato, ma ho provato il nuovo Valvetronix 80... non ricordo la sigla, penso ce ne sia solo uno con 80. Per nulla male, anzi. Non sono di quelli che rabbrividiscono al digitale, dipende tutto da come suona (e da che pezzi ha, modeling o meno ti serve uno speaker decente, componenti di qualità e tutto il resto).
