I come from a different tradition, a mix of traditional show band and corps style, but I love this band and watch all the videos.

The thing that makes Jsu better than Famu is that , Jsu can crank and they still sound good and you can hear every part ! Famu is big for no reason and plus not every band crank crank and sound good at the same time...While any band can sound as good as Famu

I like Miss State football team,but I like the Boom.This band got the Dawgs fan jumping to their cadence.The man hollered Sonic Boom band over and over.JSU got the best cadence marching in da stadium.My fav part when they ho,ho,ho!!! FAMU played 1 song I like.Its a shame to have 600 members in a band,lol.they cover da whole field and they cant move around.That band so big,they played 'bust yo windows out yo car',they drew da car,da brick,da singer,and da shattered glass with da band,lol.....

@eckstine2 The Sonic Boom of JSU and the Human Jukebox of Southern has been....and forever WILL BE the top bands around....PERIOD! They play with precision and power at the same time. Famu is big and boring. They dont even drill nor have entertainment other than those big boring formations that are hand drawn. Try Again. GO BOOM!

@sleepyharris1 Just because a band doesn't blow doesn't mean they suck. Blowing and sounding good are two very different things. Are SWAC bands loud? of course they are but their sound will always come second best to the MEAC and will never have the sound of The Marching 100. HUBBA DOC
