@tiffanymcdaniel1 This is a fitness class, emphasis on fitness. We endeavor to keep our students safe, therefore we will do what we feel is necessary to accomplish that task. We feel that our students are best served by having mats, and our students appreciate our concern for their wellness, this does not appear to be an issue. None of our nearly 300 students feels that the mats are unnecessary, which is why they continue to work on their physical fitness goals at our studio.

@officialhugglekitty Most dancers do not train with mats!!!!!! You become dependant on them! I think most teachers today need more experience before they decide to teach. Crash mats were a great idea, but for this type of instruction they are not needed. They did not invert once nor did they get more than one pull off the ground. If you make girls in your class use crash matts at this phase then it will take them years to learn. What's next, a helmet playing chess?

For those who comment about the younger girl on the left sham on you! She is trying...If more people could put actions in place where there mouth goes they would be amazed! This is not an easy task to accomplish! Especially for a young girl who has no muscle memory yet! As for the instructor, she has a routine worked out for her class to keep them safe and still learn at the same time. People sure do have big mouths when there is no one to face in the end. I would like to see your videos!

RINGS AND THE TRAINER WHO DONT KNOW HOW TO WARM UP........... NICE....... DU U WANT TO DANAGE YOUR MUSCLES? DO LIKE IN THIS VIDEO
There are so many things wrong with this video. The warm up.... there is no warm up. The instructor gives basic stretches and not for some of the major muscle groups involved in pole. A proper warm up should get the blood flowing and muscles ready to work. Cold muscles are easy to strain and injure. You also should NEVER run at your pole. You should be using gravity, momentum, and your core strength to move your body. Running causes bruises and isn't sexy! Don't run ladies!
