Guillermo Guill Cazenave, is an Argentine musician. Cazenave was born into a family of personalities connected with the world of culture and art. On his grandmothers side (McInnes-Wilde), the family is related to writer Oscar Wilde. Guillermos grandmother introduced him to celtic music and in 1962, at the age of seven, he started playing bagpipes for a while. Later, during the Beatlemania era, Cazenave studied drums and percussion with jazz professor Sam Lerman and also Alberto Alcala, of the Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires. In 1969 he continued his studies with Droopy Gianello, well-known drummer and member of the Argentinian Arco Iris. Soon to pass to the guitar and keyboards and the most experimental productions. In 1983, after residing several years in New York and London, Guillermo created in Sitges (Barcelona) independent Sello ' Astral' like alternative for the edition of its ample and increasing discography. It originated the principle call of the new age music in Spain, although his music is also space, cosmic, MGP and progressive. He has recorded with musicians of the stature of Litto Nebbia, Anthony Phillips, Steven Halpern, Ronald Lloyd, Miguel Grandfathers, Jeremy Morris, etc. and counts on an own production of more than 60 albums, as well as several books written and videos. At the moment Cazenave has his recording studio located south of France, near the castle of Montségur, where he resides most the year.
