  • I wish someone would open a Svaroopa yoga studio in the beautiful city of Burlington, Vermont. I think it would do really well here.

  • there is a studio opening in my town offering this type of yoga. I had not heard of it so thanks for telling us all about it. hope it helps me pain and makes me feel mroe mobile and limber.

  • Hatha Yoga is an "athletic" yoga? Hm, perhaps you've thrown the baby out with the bath water. Hatha Yoga goes well beyond the "athletic" (western term?), and is very much about going inward. It's actually an ancient spiritual practice. Unfortunately, the way it is most commonly taught, leaves out the "going inward" part. Now we have Svaroopa Yoga and Yin Yoga to go inward. Funny, us westerners need our menus, we want the power to choose, even if it's all the from the same dish! ;-) Namaste!

  • Thanks for posting this testament to Svaroopa Yoga. I've been taking this style of yoga for about a year and it's helped with pain but also helped my mind. Namaste!
