There is a disingenuous 'bait and switch' aspect to this video.The woman started out beautiful and was merely glamorized.So what's the point?Susan Boyle isn't an ugly woman,but she is closer to the mean(outside of TV,ads,and the movies)than the woman in this video.If Europe/America ever declines economically, to the point were culturally, we exist on the physiological level of Maslow's hierarchy of needs,the Susan Boyle type will be the rule without ambiguity.Not supermodels without makeup.

Every girl does not "deserve" to feel beautiful just as she is.Beauty is a form of power and no one "deserves" power just as they are.That silly platitude would be a recipe for disaster if people took it seriously.It is an invitation to mediocrity.All women have worth,but not all women are beautiful.Ironically, the woman in the video started out beautiful and was simply glamorized.Susan Boyle has a beautiful voice,but her face ,nsm?.Does every girl "deserve"to feel she has a beautiful voice?

it's really sad the pressure that women have to look a certain way, and younger and younger girls are now getting eating disorders and have horrible self-esteem. what's just as sad is the fact that so many guys are buying into it and women are constantly met with this unattainable standard, and one that is inescapable; on buses, billboards, t.v. shows, advertisements, magazines..

In reality nearly every model or photo of a famous person is altered in some way. No wonder we have eating disorders and low self esteam. Women are trying to live up to something that doesn't exist.
