Time lapse of programming our 2 games during IGDA Manila. Recording was paused during my sleep.

When I coded our 1st game during the first day, I didn't find the gameplay fun. Only after a nice sleep did I realized I need to put a tiger there to act as an avatar and everything just fell into place.

For the 2nd game, I had an interesting gameplay design that came up during the brainstorming session. No one wanted to do it but the idea appealed to me so I made a prototype.

Observations:
- I seem to spend a lot of time on reddit.
- I spent a lot of time thinking. You can tell when there's almost nothing going on-screen.
- I had the files for both games opened at once. I might be horrible with context switching but in my mind, the code for the first game is basically done and all I need to do is type it up.
- On the last hour, I was focused and was coding real fast. A game artist drew a picture of me during this time. (http://manilagamejam.wordpress.com/2011/01/31/the-manila-game-jam-is-over/)

- 0:39 was when I showed someone a video review of Magicka.
- 0:44 is my favorite part. It show me playing a game and watching a youtube video.
- 2:13 I was franticly looking for a cc licensed song for distribution with the game. Sadly, the music beat generator I'm using can't read the songs I downloaded. So I had to release with a missing music file.

Music is "Code Monkey" by Jonathan Coulton. Our team name, Code Monkey, is inspired by this song. Both team members are programmers.

Game links (note: this game wasn't built for release and will not work by default):

- http://www.globalgamejam.org/2011/extinction-colors (needs 2 joystick to move the other wizards. The 1st plugged in must have a 2nd analog stick)
