@4lifeReagan ...actually, according to bible prophecy, the antichrist has been here since the first century AD. Times and laws were changed. Persecutions against the true church already took place, and is still taking place on more subdued levels. The Roman Catholic System has political clout and religious clout. They are their own government. The popes have had political influence as well as religious influence for many centuries. Martin Luther states that the papacy is the seat of Antichrist.

In Revelation 13 it says the beast 666 is a man not a devil! There is no beast during the time of the 7. This beast revives at the time of the 8th and since Revelation 13 is clear that the beast is a man, and that the beast is the 8th therefore the 8th is a man and not a devil.

The beast returns during at the time of the 8th but it is not a mountain or a head. Nor is it considered in the phase "is not" the 8th lives in the time of "yet is". Also notice this is a transition name because John is clear the 8th is also from the phase "is not" he is of the 7.

In Ancient Babylon mountains represented multiple gods, go forbid is people from the mountain worship. All 7 are mountains except the 8th. Because the 7 are multiple names where as the 8th is a single name.

Note the 7 head, mountains, kings in Revelation 17 the Whore sits specifically on these 7 during the "is not" phase of the beast. John describes three phases of the beast "was" "is not" "yet is" Was is past tense meaning in history it came to an end. Note in 1798 Napoleon decreed this church and state system ended stunning the world. "is not" Since 1798 they have not controlled the kings of the earth as prior to 1798. Notice since 1798 you have 7 Papal name's since its a monarchy.
