I was at the beach and when the tide comes in and out you can see little shell things with tongues dig in the ground! WTF are those thing!!?!?!?!??!!

i have a pet clam, i was just swimming at the beach and all of a sudden i saw a clam so i kept it and when i got home and put it in a cup of water, it was MOVING!!
