Umm...No. That's not even close to being the definition... Protagonist=Main Character. Antagonist=Against the Main Character. It doesn't matter who disturbs the balance. It matter who the story focuses upon. There have been plenty of games/movies/books where the protagonist is the one that "disturbs the balance". If they made a comic that revolved around The Joker as he fought Batman, then he'd be the Protagonist while Batman would be the Antagonist.

@Thanatos606 Antogonists are characters/events that disturb the balance of the world within the story and upsets that order and the protagonist is a character affected by the disturbance and is the one that restores the world back to normality. theres more to it i know but thats the best i way i think i can explain it lol.

@TheGODZREAPER177 Yes it would be great but think about it. What if someone see's you killing or flying around they'll get the police after you then maybe the army, but I think it would be awesome to have those powers.

-Sigh- Stories are almost always about the Hero...so people assume the Protagonist means hero.
Any story where a villain is the central character means they are the Protagonist.
Character alignment doesn't matter.

I really shouldn't need to explain this. Heller is the new Protagonist. Alex and Blackwatch are the Antagonists. And the antagonists just means 'Character that opposes the Protagonists."
