Dude, my younger brother has a blue Original DS, like yours and I will be getting also a DS Lite in white, lol.

It depends on your taste.
If you ONLY want to play games, get a DS lite.
If you want to play games and go online, Store, decent camera, etc. At the cost of giving up the GBA slot. Get a DSi.

Get the DS Lite, because of GBA compatibility and lower price. You can also mod the Lite to play off SDmicro's with a Flashcart, unlike the DSi.You won't notice the screen seize difference between the two either. One more plus is that the Lite battery life is much longer!
