If we skip the slander for a moment and try to actually think about it though, what exactly is it about equal rights that offends you so?

It is not a case of 'rights' which can be given to homosexual couples through civil unions by the state if they so desire the legal benefits of married couples. It is this symbolic gesture, this push for such a union to be recognised as marriage.

Why do they desire to be so much like heterosexuals, to express their love? There is much more to marriage than just love - children. Since when has marriage had a monopoly on love.

You already know the answer, because I along with all those protesters that were in Paris am bigoted, deluded, brainwashed, hateful religious fanatic. I've Given up on arguing the subject because slander is the only response. Oh and lets not forget the other one 'living in the dark ages' and of course 'homophobic'.

You're still arguing that marriage should be exclusive to a certain group (heterosexual couples), just like those arguing against interracial marriage did (heterosexual couples of the same race). If marriage is to remain an institution at all, it ought to be equal.
