Kniphofia 'Red hot poker' flower opening time-lapse

The flowers don't all open at the same time but rather over a period of several days or weeks to ensure pollination.
The common name for this plant is aptly named Red hot poker
Filmed on Nikon D300. 55mm macro nikkor lens and studio flash.
Exposure interval 1 frame every 6-18 minutes filmed over a period of 10 days.
