Funny thing is I own a Buell XB12XTand a Yamaha FZ-1!. Both great bikes, in different ways. It's the Buell that gets my soul stirring. It's the bike I want to ride.

again, pure ignorance. v twin's do belong, ever heard of ducati? even suzuki has vtwin sport bikes.... they were never meant to be a strong force in moto gp but a more performance based harley with a sport bike rider position for those that wanted it.

If you think the Buell is a bad bike it"s because you never spent a lot of time riding one.its not the fastest bike, the most expensive,it was made to not to be like other bikes.easy to maintain,fun to ride, that's all.while some of the early bikes didn't live up to this.the later models did. ask the people who owned one.most liked it.

@themaxrider come on max is not that bad!!! i just came here in North america... i come fron europo... I know wath you meant..about better bikes.. but you can try to accept the effort that Erik buell did... don't you? be kind!! i have a Buell too.. is not that bad.... is still a good bike.. that let you feel the same sensations when you share the road with your friend,, or when you have a mechanical problem.. be bikers is all about it ... you don't think so?

@themaxrider woah woah the 1125r raced aginst race prepped 600 and 750s... i think if you looked at the hp numbers you would see they were about even. erickbuellracing also uses a 180hp 1190 vtwin rotax engine in one of their race bikes but just like the ducati, its high compression and not really good for street use.

harley builds a air-cooled pushrod engine. much different than an ohc vtwin that can rev to 11-12k.... There are guys making 120+ hp on 1250 harley vtwins with pump gas...
