SREE CHAKRA MEDITATION


Dear Atman,

Introduction:


Our subject is universal meditation or Sree Chakra Meditation. What is the relationship between the universe and the Sree Chakra.?

Before we come to this, we have to understand something about the creation and how the creation happened or how this universe evolved.

Before creation, only energy (Atom) was available. From the collision of these Atoms (energy) the Universe has come out (emerged). That one energy became two i.e. the solid universe which we are enjoying through our sense organs called INDRIYAS like eyes, ears, nose, mouth and skin and the two invisible force (energy) which is responsible for conduct of the solid universe. The totality of the five elements called Pancha Boothas such as Earth, Water, fire, Air and Sky is universe. The movements of the universe is controlled by nine planets known as Navagrahas or Solar system- Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Venus, Jupitor, Rahu , Ketu and Saturn..

Then what is Sree Chakra? Our ancient Masters (Rishis) through their deep meditation (Tapas)have found out many truths. They understood that man cannot estimate and find out exactly the depth of the universe as it contains crores of such solar systems. Our scientists have now calculated the diameter of this universe as 1250 light years. It is beyond our imagination. Out Masters have therefore created the Sree Chakra for meditating the Universe. Universe is Sree Chakra or Sree Chakra is the meditation form of Universe. This had been explained by Adi Sankara Achrya in his yoga sasthra book namely Soundrya Lahari. The same matter had also explained by many Sidhars.

Now we can analyse the purpose of meditation and the importance of Sree Chakra meditation. Before that we have to understand the purpose of human birth. Now a question arise within us.

Who am I? Or who created this Universe? If we search the answer for this, we have to go back to the Sunya (vaccum) sthithi i.e NOTHINGNESS and as already explained to that one energy which, due to explosion (collision), became two i.e the universe Purusha and Prakrithi (nature)- animate and inanimate objects respectively.




Creation of Human Beings:

From lacs of purusha bhijas (semen), one bhija succeeds to go to the womb (garbha griha). There, it splits into two . The Sukshma (subtle) part remains in Sahasrara as Atman and the other part called Sakthi goes down making six charkas. Finally the other part settles down at Mooladhara. On completion of the fifth month of pregnancy, the child in the womb would have developed fully. At the eighth month , the child in the womb is getting an individuality and it knows many truths straight from the creator- the God. As the child suffers a lot inside the womb, it prays to the omnipotent for help. At that time he advises the child that he and the God are one and the same and there is no difference between the two. Thus God teach him a manthra called SOHAM which means both (God and the Child) are one. This Soham is the breathing sound which we are repeatedly chanting 21600 times a day according to our Sasthras- our ancient books. Having got the manthra, now the child is happy in the womb. On completion of the pregnancy, when the child come out undergoing so many hardships, he/she forgets the manthra (Soham) taught by the almighty when he was in the garbha griha. Now the child makes the sound Koham which means who am I? Every body even now , asking the same question to himself. We are satisfied with the present designations or status in life and aspiring much more designations without trying to find out the answer for the question who am I or to know who created this universe. Actually we are not this designations/ body or any other material part of this body. Then who am I? I am that which means I am the one who first came from the Sunya (nothingness) at the time of creation of this universe. Theoretically, it is correct. But how can we understand it properly (experience it) and practically, find out sole purpose of life.

If one wants to know the truth, he should learn from a Sadguru, meditate under his guidance and attain the purpose /goal of human birth.

With everyone may attain the highest goal of human birth, the self-realisation.

Yes, point is valid. Yoji didn't mention that rahu and ketu are planets. In image it is mentioned like that. As english don't have rahu and ketu. They follow only sun signs with respective planets. Thanks for you valid comment.

Though it is an interesting video but I want to add that Rahu & Ketu represent those imaginary nodal points where the orbit of the moon around the earth intersects with that of earth around Sun. It is said that lunar eclipse occurs when moon is at one of these two points. Hence the mythological story of Rahu/Ketu eating up Moon. Uranus ,Neptune ,Pluto are Arun, Varun & Kuber. These are not considered planets for the purposes of Hindu Astrology .
