Vielen wollen den Ort besuchen, wo der Teufel selbst viele Jahre gelebt und gearbeitet hat. Auch ist die Umgebung sehr schön und spielt das vieleicht auch eine rolle. Ich möchte die Stelle auch einmal sehen. Und für uns Holländer sind die Deutschen sicher kein Nazi's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mfg Hans aus Amsterdam.

i was surprised, the sign has no marking on it from the youngsters the way it would in the states, plus, do you think that there are any more artifacts someone could find up there. something about it seems like spooks or ghosts are there but that is just most likely my imagination due to knowing the story about that place. is it very quiet? do you hear birds, and was it very cold?

No graffiti that I could see anywhere on the mountain. I didn't find the place spooky at all. Yes there are lots of birds around and other wildlife. The temperature was very nice. About 70 degrees that day. I don't know what the white marks are on the retaining wall. The Berghof is a few Kilometers up the mountain from the town.
