@mssheltn1 - As for Li Na, it is no secret that the Chinese playing tennis hit a FLAT BALL a bit too much... That was primarily the reason even Li na's coaches recommended her to shift to tennis from table tennis.

Of course Serena can hit topspin. She isnt one of the better players for no reason. She has more variety than Venus does who hardly can last longer rallies.

But Li Na ALWAYS gives Serena trouble and its Serenas serve which is the edge in their encounters, not her groundies.

@mssheltn1 - Correction.They do hit topspin on their shots as when needed!But overall,they have flatter shots which makes it troublesome for evn players like Venus Williams.Venus in peoples opinions(not mine) hits harder than Serena.yet Serena makes Venus run left right and center with flatter and more penetrating shots which go for clean winners.when Venus hits one, serena seems to get there for one extra shot each time.Thats because venus uses top spin which keeps the ball on for longer.

@errolmiranda I have to disagree with u, Li Na & Serena use a lot of topspin in their shot selection. Li Na has only beaten Serena 1 time vs. Serena beating her over 4 times. Li Na is a great player & I like her style but Serena is just better.

@mssheltn1 - If you notice, Serena won only becuase of Li Na's unforced errors. nothing else. for once , here comes a player hitting the ball flatter as almost as hard as serena ... not since davenport does someone have so much bite on her shots.. davenport lacked too much in mobility and li na does too but her flatter balls are more potent.

unfortunately, she lost her because of her errors... she has beaten serena before. and is a nightmare player for all the players venus, serena and kim
