Due to all the messages and Emails I get on this subject, I've made it easy for myself and recorded a video.

  • can you tell us the co-teacher stories from the public school teachers?

  • @Swytek Like..... One in particular was how my friend had this crazy ass coteacher who he had to share a class with. She was just super mean and would yell at him and got fired for hitting a kid and sending him to the hospital... I don't remember the details but he said that working with her was a nightmare. To be fair, this could happen anywhere. Even a hagwon.

  • This was very helpful I have an interview with a hagwon tonight .

  • @homewrecker2288 How'd it go?

  • Also, public school pay a little less.

  • @qiranger Yup!

  • wow, I have like seen all your vlogs, and honestly you just inspired me to double major at my College so I can teach children how to learn english, because when I watch your vlogs with your students you look like you are genuinely happy and having so much fun but the sad thing is I probably wont be able to in about another 2 years :(

but seriously, big inspiration to me and I hope everything goes well for you in the future! :3

  • This is very insightful! Thank you for your honest feedback on a hagwon and tips on interviewing a hagwon!

  • Good tips

  • The Korean government has enough to pay on time, every time :)

  • Thanks for the information. I still a student but is cool to learn about teachers lifes. I like your videos a lot. ^^

  • @durkeeinkorea It went really well I got the job if all goes as planned with my visa I will be in Korea by the end of July

  • @durkeeinkorea No doubt, that's one of the problems with PS, it's a gamble. At least with hagwons you can choose your location and therefore you can do research and talk to current/former teachers.
