Alan Dennison always a good worker. Shame he passed away so suddenly. RIP Alan.

as a kid in the 50s i saw similar endings. always seemed a early middle age wrestler working a mid teen rookie would seem odd in the usa, yet back in the day seemed a staple in southern usa pro was a nasty veteran pro taking the likes of a boyish robert fuller jr out behind the shed before the boy got a huge push.

@meopericulo Look closely, the kid puts his right arm over the top rope, unless he got whiplash, I would say tthis was fixed. It makes Dennison look good, it shows that the kid is still green. There is another bout on here in which a wrestler goes for a roll then stays down - which wasn't a fix as the heel opponent suddenly looks far too concerned...

well lets just say, British Wrestling isn't as fake as American wrestling

Despite the finish, this is a smart match of a young stud novice vs a mature stallion master which keeps the memory of A.D. alive. There is gentle undertones of soft humor inter- wove with a paced rather than a brisk match of which the camera skills/close up shots/focus on the guys/ring as well as high lighting a nice sweat sheen, helped to enhanced the pleasure of viewing.Though not dramatic this was well worth viewing, even A.Ds. voice was welcome & fair. Many thanks indeed ,& much appreciated.

prefer dynamite when he was in brit pro

I'm not being funny, but Dynamite was a lanky sod to start off with, he really bulked up when he went to the WWF.
Was this a real injury? Sort of an odd finish if not.

Pretty common finish for the British style, usually as a way to protect both wrestlers.
