Avuyile Ndamase, nicknamed Avo by his friends, feels like the ocean is a part of him. He grew up near the coast, and he's been surfing since age 8, despite a freak accident where his brother was attacked by a shark. Every morning he heads down to his favourite surf spot in East London, waxes his board and paddles in. From a distance, he watches the city waking up. This is where this budding pro-surfer relaxes and finds himself. Surfing is "freedom", and the only way to see the world is from the inside of a barrel.

Brilliant campaign in that it removes Cellc from just a cellphone company to individuals people that you and I know... in that way its no longer an ad but a personal experience..

The whole video and you only see him actually surfing for about 10 seconds. Good camera work though.
