This is me, painting the finishing touches to my Idina Elphaba's Act 2 dress from Wicked.
Please understand that the video is in real-time, it is very long, just skip it forward every now and again, because it is extremely long to watch the whole way through.
Also, understand that this is art. As I'm painting, I'm too busy concentrating on the art to notice anything apart from that, or my background music. SO ANY FLAMES, OR NEGATIVE COMMENTS OF ANY KIND WILL BE REMOVED. No warnings, no leniency. I am putting this vid up on youtube simply to show my Galinda's Wardrobe family.

No, by the time I had finished, it had taken so long, I knew that dispite how intricate it looked, no one but myself would know how much work had gone into it.
I've given it to my best friend, Jeenyus, who has helped me set up and run Galinda's Wardrobe, a Wicked costuming site and forum. So it is with a very deserving person, just not off the stage.

Compared to pictures of the Act 2 dress, yes it is quite glittery, but the actual gown is incredibly glittery, it just doesnt come across on photos.
You might also be taking the reflection of light on the paint as 'glitter', possibly. Thats the problem with using this 'paint', its quite layered and very shiny, even when dry, and unfortunitly, my light tends to pick that out, no matter which angle I put it at. But thanks for the appreciation! I rarely get many complements.

even though your not paying attention to the background, i LOVE RENT AND WICKED! Wicked is def. my favorite. I wish i could paint like this! I swear, you should send one of these to Idina Menzel! Your sure to get something back, if you do, you have to tell me! Great job.

You know, originally I was going to do so. I was planning on giving this to Idina before she left, and another one later to Helen (I'm still part way through her popular dress). In the end, it took too long- there were all these little things that I wanted to alter and perfect, and I ended up taking many months to complete it.
