  • @qwert12345asdfgzxcvb all i'm saying is that there are other factors to consider also and that I believe the most important is the limb/body ratio. Consider that tall people set the biggest lifts ever recorded in all the lifts. In conclusion i'd say it's easier for a shorter guy to have great lifts relative to their bodyweight, while it's easier for taller guys to have great absolute lifts in terms of weight.

From what i've seen, biomechanically longer muscles seem to have a stronger stretch reflex than shorter muscles, which could affect weight lifted. I'm just talking here from my experience and having trained with plenty guys over 6 ft and over 110kg. I'm not saying short guys don't have an advantage, they probably do -
