Parental advisory! With parents this time. I shot this at Tipitinas in New Orleans. So far they have gotten away with singing this song all across the country. Free Speech is a beautiful thing. And so are our daughters. This song is dedicated to Richard Pryor. He & his wife, Jennifer was one of our sponsors for "Arlo Guthrie's City of New Orleans Train Tour." He passed away a few days into the tour. We rode the train from Chicago to New Orleans, stopping along the way doing concerts to raise money for the venues and musicians who was hit by Katrina. Cyril Neville, Ramblin' Jack Elliot, Guy Davis, Abe Guthrie & his band Xavier, Annie Guthrie, Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion, The Burns Sisters, Ramsay Midwood, John Flynn, Kevn Kinney, Jack Neilson, Amtrak gave us Jerome to take care of ALL of us, film crews, sound crews, kids, grand kids, tv folks all hopped on the train and Willie Nelson met us there in his bus! It was a great time and Amtrak was really great. Gibson Guitar, Music Cares and many more jumped on board to sponsor this great event.
